| SDC and sibilance I've been using my SDC for vocals (it's a Nuemann KM-140) and seem to have found a good position for it, off axis and with good pop protection but I'm getting alot of siblance. Is this normal with an SDC for vocals?

| It's normal. Check out the frequency chart on Neumann's website. It should give you some ideas as to where to begin EQ'ing it out. I believe the KM184 has a broad 2-3 dB peak centered around 8.5k. This along with some deessing and you should be set. |

My KM140 has a broad peak at 8.5k as well. Thanks! I wonder how simliar they are? I read of people interchanging them but I've never used a KM184.
