Mark King (Level42) solo album "Influences" - what's that gtr sound on "I feel free"?

Whilst we're on the subect of "guitar synth" type sounds,

Anyone know how Mark King did that solo on the Cream cover"I feel free".

To me it sounds like a guitar through a compressor, an ADSR which is shaving off the attack, and 2 octave-up setting on a pitch shifter towards the end.

Quite a magical sound!

Bump for Jerry Boys or Mark King in case you are around!

Check out the Holdworth style "violin" tone at 3.48 - I can hear a slow flange as part of the sound

YouTube - Mark King - I feel free!
