TW: would you mind talking about how you came upon the drum sound on "Bless This Mess"? You wrote that the drums were recorded in a carpeted room, which made me wonder if any samples were involved? The album sounds fantastic!

Samples were used here and there, because on many songs the drums were recorded poorly. Often I only had one mic/track of drums to work with.

I'll bump this. I got a chance to sit in with TW in a mastering session a couple months ago, learned a lot from him, hopefully I get the chance to do it again.

Hi Tim. A little too late, but I want to know if the overhead on the drums were at-4041 or at-4050. In the picture it's seems like a pair of at-4050. Pardon my english. Greetings from Argentine.
