Crazy mic problem

Hi, I just picked up a Cad VSM on ebay a few days ago, and set it up to record, I was getting a weird buzzing click thing, and i knew it wasn't my daw since it was only on one mic. So i figured it was the preamp. I then pluged the mic into a different pre, and it worked fine, I then changed back just in case, and it was fine again, must have been a loose cable. I walked in to adjust the cad vsm and got a really bad shock. The mic wasnt hot, it was the cable to the mic. Any metal on the 7 pin mogami cable gave a really strong shock.

The normal xlr from the power supply to the interface was fine to touch. I have yet to plug the power supply into a different outlet to check if it was bad electric.

When I bought the mic on ebay, the normal cable wasn't included so I bought a 7 pin mogami cable, and hoped for the best, once I got it, I looked and all the pin numbers matched, I dont know whats wrong or how to fix this, I hope I dont need another 60$ 15' mic cable.

Has anyone had this happen?
