any insight on 828mk2 bla mod or audiofire8

i was thinking about either getting a motu 828mk2 with a bla mod or an echo audiofire8. it would be used for mainly conversation via firewire to my imac. any insight?

Id get the audiofire. I have the MOTU 828mkii BTW.

If you decide to sell the motu, you wont recover your cost for the mod IMO.

Audiofire converters are on par with the rme FW800
