I got my HD600's

Howdy all


I did it... i splurged for the sennheisers and i got them in today
200 dollars for a nearly brand new pair. The box doesent even look like its ever been opened.

I never thought i'd beable to hear the difference through headphones with something as simple as a headphone amp, but i can.

I orgionally listened through a grado headphone amp at my local audiophile store, which gives a really spacious soundstage. Sadly, the headphone amp on my laptop dosen't even remotely compare, but it still sounds fantastic!
I can't wait to try them at the studio-- I'm hoping it will help me with tracking a bit and mixing in situations where i can't have monitors.


I guess i'm gonna have to start carrying a listing kit with these things. Headphones, amp, ect ect. Maybe i'll get one of those cool silver metal briefcases and handcuff them to myself. Anyone want to volunteer to be the two guys standing on each side of me in suits and sunglasses looking ominous?
