| Summing Box DIY Questions..Help! Hello, I am looking to build a passive summing box. Does anyone make a kit? I am not wanting to source out the parts, box, etc if I do not have to. I have built Seventh Circle Audio pre-amps and and re-capped alot of old Ampex mulitracks, tube amps so I am handy with a soldering iron. I am assuming I am going to have to build a sum box with a pan control for my setup? My converter is a Lynx Aurora 8 AD-DA, so unless I am missing something there is no way to pan from ITB with 8 track mixes and a 8 DA convertor feeding a 8 channel mono sum box. Is this Correct? I usually use 8 tracks only and track on a 1" 8trk ampex 440C before dumping it throught the Lynx Aurora. My total ITB mixes stay under 8 tracks I wish to use my SCA 1272 pre's to bring back the gain. Best, Eric |
