The New Classics

Moderators and friends...I apologize if this topic has been discussed...but I haven't seen it and thought it would be fun:

In 10, 20, or 50 years, when all of the U47s are rusted out and broken [sic], what gear will become the "new" classics? What mic will be the U47 of tomorrow? What pre will be the 1073? That isn't to say that these are replacable, but come on...lets put these classics on the shelf and make way for some new ones. Anybody?

Let's face reality, 50% of the U47's in existence are unoriginal
and out of the reamaining 50% 45% are fakes. It's like 59 pauls
there are more fakes than originals
