motif mo6 vs motif es6 vs fantom x6 vs triton extreme 61 keys

Hi all,

I would just like everyones opinion on what they believe is the best out of these keyboards.

I'm looking for a 61 key keyboard with good sounds and also able to do some small producing on the road.

Cheers,
Paul

You can go to Roland and Korg's websites and check out the demo videos from the past few NAAM shows. Not sure if Yamaha has them, but check there too. You''ll get an idea of each board's capabilities.

Warning: It is never as easy to program/work the keyboards as they make it appear. Roland has the best, and most, videos. Just watch out for those Scott Tibbs videos demos, he can be a great substitute for sleeping pills.

BTW, I currently own 3 Rolands (including an X6) and 2 Korgs. Since 1990, I have never had any issue with a Roland or Korg piece of equipment on the road or in the studio. I cannot say the same for Yamaha.

And every board you listed is a fine piece of gear as far as sound goes.

i am selling my mo 6 on ebay for $950. the mo 6 is alright if you just need the sounds from the motif es. it has a few new presets also. I have been using mine for 6 months. Only thing it has less outputs than the motif es, and it has no sampling. it has pretty much the same sequencer and appregiator. hit me up for questions.
