hey super, have you used the massey CT4? Just curious. I love the comp plug. So simple, so unassuming, so (yes, I can say it) CHEAP and yet it sounds excellent. My go to comp plug these days, although I still use others as well. Haven't been able to try out any of the chandler plugs yet..... | |

i have had the opportunity to use the TG Mastering Pack EQs in a couple of sessions now. i can say without hesitation that the plugins are top-notch! regarding the tg12412: the eq points are carefully chosen and there is a control on each band to select whether you want a low, mid, or high Q setting, or if you want shelving-type. this eq is quite musical and versatile!! regarding the tg12414: this presence/filter module is possibly the greatest thing since sliced bread..... there are HP and LP filters and a very useful and beautiful-sounding 'presence' band that adds sparkle just where you might need it; for vocals and solo instruments this is a kicker!! i will most definitely be adding these plugins to my permanent arsenal!! with the tg12413 limiter pack and the tg12412/12414 eq pack i (and you) can have a full 'EMI' channel strip!! and of course you can run many instances as the plugins are CPU-friendly, AND can be used in multi-mono for sweetening an entire mix!! congrats to Wade, Judy, Cody, and all the coders of this excellent addition to the Chandler line of masterpieces! cheers, ~j.d.
