Hello, I'm a novice when it comes to the differences between different digital formats and how it relates to connecting multiple pieces of digital gear together. Several of the digital formats embed the clock signal along with the digital audio. So, is it possible to take, say, an AES digital output from one unit and connect to to a BNC workclock input on another device in order to sync the two units? Or, can the AES format not "talk" to word clock? How interchangeable are the different digital formats (including word clock)? Thanks, Paul |
