New U195 and ME-1NV from Atlas Pro...

Nathan set me up and hand delivered my new U195 and ME-1NV last night. They are excellent pieces of gear that will have a long lifespan at my studio. Thanks to Nathan and all here who tipped me off to the U195. The 1NV is sweet too. I like the DI on my P Bass better than my Avalon U5s. It's faster and more upfront.

We hung at a pub for awhile and had some fun. Great guy with good business ethics and support! His girlfriend is really cool as well. They'll take care of you.

Thank you for the kind words Kyle, it was nice meeting you as well....I think you'll enjoy your new tools.

If any of you prospective songwriters need help with taking your original song and turning it into something much bigger and better... expert arrangement, session players & singers, and a good recording (hey, he's using a 1NV and a U195 for the songs) that's what Kyle does for a day job (and his wife is an entertainment lawyer too!!). He does work for people as far away as central/northern Europe.

I can't wait to record some real singers through this rig instead of my lousy test vocals last night! I should add that I've been contacted to record the new Page/Plant record, and really look forward to using the new gear on that.

That would be Odell Page and Cleetus Plant...a couple of local bluegrass dudes I met down at the Rusty Anchor last night
