| I reamp bass tracks all the time, but never use a reamping device. I take the line out of my DAW right into the bass amp input. Just gotta watch the level. The sound is clearly different and the amp reacts differently than if I plugged in an actual bass, but I actually dig it. That said, I would NOT do this with guitar. I don't think that particular sound would work with guitar, as it does with bass. |

| I have a couple of rack units with both balanced and unbalanced outs. I send the line in from the DAW and out the unbalance out. I used a GTQ2 for the purpose last time and was able to EQ the signal before it hit the amp. Kinda sweet. |

| Slightly off topic, but has anyone tried reamping an acoustic sound, like a snare drum or a whole kit? I'm imagining it through a Marshall stack. |
