Looking for more artists like Lisa Gerrard

Hi guys, i bought her album immortal memory, i really like it i listen to it all the time, do you guys know of anyone else similar? doesnt have to be the same, just in the same ball park, im not quite into full on opera or movie soundtrack style music, But im so sure there must be a load of women who sing songs similiar to this style,

foriegn music is also welcome, i was listening to what sounded like mexican Jazz/hiphop today, ive heard some of their songs on T.v Adverts, love it, its refreshing to hear music from other countries.

She used to sing in "Dead Can Dance", so check them out. Their album "Spiritchaser" got the best perc sound I've ever heard! ORGANIC!

Yeah i know she used to be with them, thats not quite what i like though, its too graveyard for me. I was thinking something a little brighter, anyone know of any italian music like this?
