Male Rock Vocal Mic Options

I'm looking to expand my vocal mic options for a male hard rock singer. I have a Studio Projects T3. I think it's pretty cool, but I'd like to aquire another option. I'd like to get something that doesn't duplicate what the T3 does. I'm looking at spending approximately $1,500 give or take a few hundred.

I know that I'll ultimately need to use my ears to make a decision, but I'd like to start getting a list of candidates together.

Do you have an SM7 yet? If not, that would complement the T3 nicely, and they're not very expensive.

I'll toss in another vote for the SM7. Every studio should have one.

Same here. SM7b! It is way cheap and way under rated.

Get that and the U195. Both for around 1,400 or so.
