I must write it here.Was early autmn and I bought from ex gearslutz member "Powercord" 2x MAP(old API in 500 format)compressors.When they were here I was badly surprised -they were not working.Powercord wrote me they did worked and when I was up to return the item back- he stopped communication.So I opened comps and looked inside..and was scared!One of them was hardly burnt (really black hole in PCB)and looked dilettantish repaired.other wasn´t so horrible but I had two paid not working comps , without manufactury to sent it for repair no schematics and so on..I tried it find somebody to repair here in czech, also in prodigy forum. also here...but it looked nobody can´t help me in the whole world... .lIt looked I wasted 800,- bucks in vain...and was really desperate
but ..
one day wrote me Jens from Eisen .Wrote me he is interesting to look in them and will try reapir them..
AND..IT .HAPPENED.. they are repaired and beutifly working ---they will be on the way to home soon...
I couldnt believe...really ..after this shits..will have this working...
must say JENS from Eisen audio IS GREAT PERSON, GREAT
TECHNICIAN, GREAT PROFESIONAL! THANK YOU THANK YOU!

That's nice to hear Carloff. Thanks for sharing the story, and good on you Jens for stepping up to the plate to help a brother out. After my initial thought that I hope powercord gets hit by a bus, my mind was engrossed with the fantasy of a 500 series DIY compressor being available in the future. I know, I know, but don't mess with the fantasy...
