| Gear interested | mojave u47 A guy told me at mojave audio that his mic called ma 200 sounds like a u 47 for $499 has anyone heard it is it any good ? |

| I did the kit when it was first released; I have had the mic for well over a year now. it is very warm sounding; thick in the 300-400hz area. it sounds MUCH better than it did stock; but I would stop - very short - of calling it a budget U47. It is a nice mic; it works well and was a great learning experience to build. But it is not my go to mic at all. I have a Soundelux U195 and Blue Dragonfly that see far more work in my project studio. Just my opinion. |
