Rockfield Studio, Wales --- What console in the 70s?

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what console they were using back in the 70?

From the mixonline article, they currently have Neve VR in each control room http://mixonline.com/mag/audio_rockf...udios_history/

Anyone work there back in the day?

A great studio. I did my first radio session there. Lovely. i remember being shocked that the food on the table was for us!

As for console I don't know. There was another excellent studio just down the road called Monnow Valley which was my favourite studio. A lovely marble piano room, large live room and big converted barn massive ssl g series desk. Happy days... i think its closed down now.

I was at Rockfield just a few months ago.. both Neve VR's are long gone, It's an MCI 500 in the Quadrangle and a Neve 8128 in the Coach House.

From what I can gather in the 70's (circa Bohemian Rhapsody) they had a Rosser console, mic pres from the very same board are now racked up and in the Quadrangle.
