How to use the DA in my setup?+

I'm running an Alesis HD24 and Mackie 24/8 setup with great outboard gear. I have set up issues with setting up a new Rosetta 200 with this system. No problem tracking through the AD then to the HD24 but where do I want to use the DA? In the 2 buss mix or before the monitors or????

the D/A side of the Rosetta is normally for your monitors

the Rosetta has every set of outs you could need so run the analog outs to your monitors (or your monitoring station rather, since the Rosetta has no monitoring controls)... the optical or spdif you can run to your CD burner..

Okay, I would use the Rosetta 200 ADafter the console, but before the CD recorder. Then use the DA for the CD's output.

Make sense?

Thanks for responding Zach.

Uhhhh no this dosen't make sense to me. Don't I want my signal going through the Rosetta before going to tape?

I'm mixing to the cd burner and not using its outputs at all.

Could you clarify????
