Thread Starter | Insulation for large iso cab/room help?
4'w 5'h 8' deep Hi, I've got a space in the basement under a stairwell that I basically want to make a large iso box/room for a guitar speaker cab. 2 sides are poured concrete and two are drywall. The 4 sides & ceiling are all framed with I guess 15" centers. Am I wasting time by putting Corning R30 or something in between the studs...even before I enclose it with something else desirable? Something else instead? TIA!

| Insulation is needed. But it won't do you any good without offset stud construction (where a stud is only used for one wall and nothing is attached to both sides of teh drywall). -tINY |
