I bought one of those many years ago when I was on a budget. I brought it back to the local store because I thought it was broken. They exchanged it and the replacement sounded just as bad. I brought that one back and exchanged it for a dbx 266 which is no shining star but at least sounds reasonable for what it cost. |

Man..... badder than a 266. That's one Bad-A$$ piece. I think of all the records I've heard and seen done that were ruined by overcompression from 1176's, 33609's...... IMAGINE HOW MUCH BADDER THEY COULD HAVE SOUNDED WITH A 3630! Oh, regrets!!!

I think the 3630 sounds better than the 266 IMO. 266 is just plain mud!
