Replacement Tube for TLA100

Hey gang I want yor opinion on a good tube for a summit tla 100. I got some chep crap 12ax7 in there now I don't remember what it is. What do you suggest and why? Thanksthumbsup

I don't remember what tube is inside those units now but when I had one and it went bad I just got an tube from Electronic City. It sounded like crap and made the unit unusable. Try and fine a NOS Telefunken or Mullard. Much like the Tube Tech gear they Summit sounds great with either of those. Telefunken is a bit more airy but the Mullard has a great bottom and mid-range.

Spend decent money on some NOS tubes with a warranty and you will be happy for many years to come.
