Thread Starter | Where to get rack stands, and what size nails?
Where is the best site to order cool looking rack stands? Or should i just go to guitar center and grab them there? Also what type of nails and size are you guys using to rack the outboard gear/synths in? |

16 penny concrete coated nails would hold the gear in very securely.

I'm a penny pincher so I try to find bargains. I've purchased many a used and barely used racks on the nickel and dime clearance shelves. I've also built my own racks. You can find plenty of different sized rack rails on Ebay. As far as rack screws, I like to mix it up. 10-32's are the correct thread size. I like to mix it up using flat head, allen head, and phillips head screws all on each piece of gear for theft deterrant purposes.
