Try creating a mono track. Your source is mono, so why record on a stereo track?

Define the track as a mono track. Must be possible with a setting in Audition somewhere...

Tried that it worked, however it made all the recordings sound distorted and whatnot?

Can anyone school me on the difference between stereo n mono...?

When your recordings sound distorted, you should lower the input gain of the M-Box mic input until it doesn't distort anymore.

Mono = 1 audio source
Stereo = 2 audio sources, panned left-right

Now its working in stereo digital 1 - However the quality is still really bad compared to the small recording i did in pro tools before that buffer problem arose. I used the exact same mixing as well.
