Thread Starter | 44.1 or 96 sample rate? Does it matter?
Pardon me, if this is sounds like a dumb question...but ..If all cds convert down to 44.1 anyway, why would anyone want to record at a higher sample rate only to be dissappointed when it goes to cd. Wouldnt you get a more accurate "like this on the cd" by recording in 44.1?

Like many things that genius engineer Joe Chiccarelli has told me that took months to sink in, there's really no turning back after getting used to the sound of 24/96.
