Very new to the MBOX and Pro Tools! Advice needed!

Hello all,

New to the mbox and pro tools as i am new to the boards! Having some trouble getting my RODE NT1A to pick up for some weird reason? Nothing is recording, everything has been followed as the instructions tell you to in the booklet that comes with the mbox and pro tools

Curious if anyone may have some time to help me get this working:P I have previously been recording and mixing using a non condenser microphone and Adobe Audition, i hear with pro tools there is a lot of wave bundles and plug ins to get? Can anyone shed some light on what these are etc.

Regards, and happy ny

A Rode NT1A doesn't require phantom power???? I thought the MBOX acted as it.

Yes, the NT1A requires phantom power, you need to engage the button marked "48V".
When the red led is lit the mic is powered by the Mbox2.
