Thread Starter | Mixing to CD
I am using a Mackie D8b going out digitally (spdif) to CD (tascam RW700). The mix sounds fat and wonderfull on the Mackie and then when I monitor the imputs of the CD or playback, everything gets smaller and thinner and narrower. Is this the limits of 16bit cd recording? Does this happen to everyone? Even when I record digital into the computer for a mix, it still isnt as good as the original. Please help, Id love to know the most accurate and fattest way to mix down without processing it. Thanks, Mike Whittaker MichaelWhittaker.net |
