| Peluso CEMC6 I've been using the Peluso CEMC6 for drum overheads. They are very detailed and nuetral. I've been running them through my pacificas and they seem to add a cool color but I don't think it's enough. The Pelusos are very Shoeps like. I'm looking for more of a rock sounding pair of overhead mics. Thanks and Happy New Year! |

| Have you considered the Peluso P12's? A stereo matched pair of those would be excellent for overhead drums (among many other things).

| Did a shootout with AKG460's, Octava's, and the Peluso's for rock overheads. Used API's & Portico's. The Peluso's were by far the worst sounding. Not even a marginal thing. You're better off with Octava's. The KM184's will knock the socks off any of the previously mentioned pairs for rock OH's. |

| If it were me, I would buy this pair of Gefells. And exactly a grand from what appears to be a reputable seller in Germany. Then again I generally love everything Gefell. http://cgi.ebay.com/PAIR-NEUMANN-GEF...QQcmdZViewItem

| Matched mint CEMC6's in a decent sized room with a well tuned kit. |

| I use a pair of the AKG 460 with cardiod capsules over the drums. I like them. |
