Hi

It begs the question of why everything was so low priced? Did the previous owner die or something like his ex wife selling his stuff cheap to get even?

If it isn't 1,000% legit, posting about it here might jog memories of missing gear.

It's legit. I basically found a guy who wanted to sell all the rack gear that was sitting in the studio he owned. The place had been down for a couple years, ever since his engineer quit. He has no engineering know-how, so didn't use the gear. I told him (truthfully) how much it was all worth individually based on completed eBay listings, PrePal.com, and Craigslist & Gearslutz Classifieds, and then offered him all the money I could afford. He was just psyched to get a check and get rid of all the gear at once.

Win-win situation, I say.

Anyway, now he's talking about selling the rest of the equipment in his studio, including a pair of 1030As, a U87, a pair of TLM103s, and a buncha other stuff (including instruments).

Oh. And he's looking to sell his Mackie X-Bus.

Anyone who's interested should PM me. I'll put you in touch.
