Thread Starter | frequency filter/gate vst
Is there any vst plug-in that allows me to completely cut out certain frequencys of a signal? I know the frequency gate in the vstdynamics plug, but it only goes up to 10kHz. Is there an alternative? The ordinary high/low frequency filters also don´t do the job, as they only work in the lower/upper end, but not in between. Maybe I´m missing something here, but I´m looking for a plug that def. kills desired frequencies. Thanks! |

| You need a parametric EQ with a high-Q / narrow bandwidth and 15dB or more of cut. run it twice if you have to ...... -tINY |

Thanks tINY, but with ordinary EQing I can´t really get rid of the undesired frequencies. I´d like to avoid multiple instances of any plug-in, if I can. The frequency gate in the vstDynamics plug does what I want (it actually gates out the frequencies), but it is limited to 10 kHz. Anyone else who could point me to an alternative? |
