I still have the Carvin Quad X preamp. It'll work, but it requires a bit of massaging. Channel 2 with cloaking and a Budda pedal in front of it.

Yes..I get it . He talked me into my first PT rig and taught me how to use it..
subsequenlty i did a bunch of drum editing for him..
i remember carrying in about 8 milkcrates full of pedals.Fun to hang out at sound city Matt..a total nut.
Amps golore..
Man,go to a Barressi session..sick too.

He almpost talked me into buying a Bogner a while ago.

Now go get a couple PCP's and mic every cab

That's just wrong. I wouldn't let my guitar signal near any of those processors. All you need is an amp and a couple of pedals.

Here's my most recent addition to the rig, an 18 watt clone I'm in the process of modding...That will sit on top of two Vox cabs like shown, or opposite the other cab with a modified Princeton reverb head on top...
