Power Brick Question

Hi there, I've been searching around for a while here now but can't really narrow down answers to my question...

I have a few guitar pedals (9v ac I believe) the generic types... I also have an APC40 midi controller for ableton and an firewire audio interface.

Am I insane to expect to be able to power all these devices from a brick? The Audio interface and midi controller take the same plugs at 12v DC. All the devices requiring different amps but Most these bricks allow for that right?
Do they usually come with the removable connectors to swap the polarity?
the (+ to -) thing...

Should I go down this line and try the bricks or will conflict with my set up too much?

Any thoughts?

(ps: i could put info here on the devices and power required but i thought id just see what type of response i get)

Thanks
