Vox AC50CP head
So I've been researching some amps because I'm looking into getting a new one. I currently play through a 4x12 cabinet, so I was hoping to find a new head. I really like vox amps, but the current AC model is 1200 bucks for the handwired, and that's just too much for me. But the ac50 head was discontinued somewhat recently, and if it sounds anything like the AC30 then I think I'll love it.

I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about them, why they were discontinued? Do they sound good with a 4x12 cabinet? And what are the pros and cons of the head vs buying the vox ac30 combo? Thanks guys!

The Night Train 50 head replaced the AC50CP and I bought one recently. It's fantastic sounding with my Tele and a WGS ET65 in an open-back 1x12. Not as good with my humbucker equipped guitars, but I got it specifically for Tele into Vox tones.
