Oddities w/my Pro Reverb amp

Ok so I'm pondering selling my Pro Reverb, so I was double checking it's date info. From the transformers I've been able to confirm it's a '76 Silverface, but looking around there are some strange things. The rear layout matches the 68-76 setup, but the front panel is an odd mix of the old and new. The original front had a Volume, Treble and Bass on the left and no Master Volume on the far right. Mine has the Master, but not the Mid. So between that and it being 45W instead of 40 or 70, it seems like a weird hybrid. Any idea how many were made in this in-between stage?

Fender Field guide can help potentially. If it's the real 40 watt with tube rectifier and not the ultra linear later ones, could be good.

I went there. My version of the amp is actually not listed. It's 45W not 40 or 70 and there is a master volume knob like the 76-82, but there is no Mid, like the 68-76.

Here is an Ebay sale that has the exact same knob setup and wattage as my amp. (This is NOT my amp)

Haven't heard of this one, but I'd go over to the Fender forums in the Vintage amp section. There will definitely be folks over there who will know about the amp more than here.

Assuming you're not the original owner, there's always the possibility that the amp was modded?

When I bought my '66 Deluxe Reverb, it had an added master volume! (Fortunately, the master volume knob got installed in the rear over one of the existing jacks, so it was reversible)

since it's a transitional year and the "MASTER VOLUME" is silkscreened on the faceplate, I'd assume it is original -- usually when someone hacks a MV into a Fender, they drill right through the logo name. Fender shifted the amp names to make room for a Master volume knob so guessing this is legit.
