Pedals that you leave on all the time!

Hi everyone....just wanted to find out what pedals you guys LIKE TO JUST LEAVE ON as it ENHANCES your guitar rig and makes everything sound better......I imagine mostly compressors and boost pedals but I'm curious to hear your reactions....even if you are crazy and leave a phaser on all the time

In some situations my analogman Beano Boost stays on all the time. Particularly with my Vox AC 30 and a Strat. Also when I'm using my Zen Drive ( or Zen Drive 2), It's on constantly

Keeley Compressor is on 100% of the time for me, with knobs at 9:00 and 12:00 respectively.

Zvex super hard on. Right now its at the end of my chain, but it should probably be at the front... buffers it up, keeps the tone a little more present and chimey.

Pigtronix Philosopher King - first in chain- and at least one of my four Eventide pedals.
I gotsta have to have sustain, thickness and flava!
A guitar into an amp, with no effects, unless the amp is turned way up, which tends to be impractical, sounds way too wimpy, or rockabilly, or sumthin, regardless of the make of the guitar. I absolutely hate it when notes die on the vine!

Comp / Decimator

I always have my Decimator on to control feedback issues (except occasionally when I switch it off to purposefully maximize feedback). Beyond that, I used to always leave my Boss Comp/Sustain pedal on, but now I'm finding that I don't like it that way as much unless I'm doing certain types of leads where I really want the consistency. It'd be nice if it had a blend feature so you could do parallel comp, but it doesn't.

Depends upon the music, but given me playing what I like, the pedals are almost never on.

Same here, but I do have it first in the chain. Even dialled all the way down it's got a bit of fairy dust...

I've done a few gigs where I left a SansAmp GT2 on all the time.

I leave all my distortion pedals on all the time! I have a looper pedal to switch between them, but my tubescreamer is my "clean channel" sound. I usually just use it for the level and tone knobs though. The drive knob is barely turned up, if at all. I'd also say close to half the songs I play have the delay pedal on as well.

My Pedalworx Neodrive is on all the time, turned all the way up, when I play guitar. It's my "cleaner" sound. Sansamp Classic is my full-on distortion. With SD stacked P-90's and 12-60 strings on my '70's Tiesco V-2 it sounds massive!

My Way Huge Swollen Pickle is on all the time when I play bass.

Clean tone is for pussies!

My Diamond compressor is on almost all the time, set very low. And the Danelectro trem, again pretty subtle. I often have a ducking delay on most of the time, yet again pretty low.

Vintage MXR 10 band EQ, but only some (not all) of the time. That's as close as I come.

Durham Sex Drive. I run it as a last-in-line buffer. If my rig is plugged in, it's on.

It adds a nice sparkle and push to my sound without taking away from the clumsy, ham-fisted tones that my playing yields.

I leave my Blackstar Reverb on all the time pretty much. It can dial in a very subtle reverb, and putting its tube after digital effects seem to help smooth things out.

Durham Sex Drive 100%

Lovepedal amp 50 at LOWEST setting on or off depending on my every mood

boss bass chorus with hpf set high and 20% mix ..again on all night or off all night depending on how I feel

keeley modded DL4 100%

Neunabar Wet Reverb either all on or all off depending on the room

buffer that I built to go between the above mentioned chorus and an overdriver stays on all the time

with all of them on the sound is NOT a processed sound..and I can adjust these to fit any of my amps and any room

All the time? None. But there are plenty of times when I'll leave my Jangle Box compressor on for the whole song.

Now, if this were still the 80's, I'd say my Boss Chorus pedal. I've grown since then, though.

Yeah but that Boss Chorus I played in the 80s is still going on in my head, all the time.

I had a mod put in it, Keeley I think, then it was just crazy...should have left it be.

Only thing I leave on all the time when I have my referred amp is the tube tape echo. I don't always have the delay on, but it's always running through the preamp.

I went through a four or six week period in the 80s where every single session I did was through a Scholtz Rockman. I suspect there are plenty of guitarists who did similarly for four or six months. Maybe even years.

But I remember that Spring, 1985 I think? that sound was like crack and every single producer wanted it.
