My setup is: Carvin Legacy amp. In the FX loop i like to put my MXR 10 band EQ, but when i try to switsh it on and off ther is comming this short loud noise from my amp/speaker.

Im using the correct power supply for the MXR and the cabels working just finde when i put on my G-major in the same way. As a side info i can tell, that im also catching some radiostation, when im pluging in the MXR in the FX loop.

Hope someone can advice me what to do.
