Tips & Techniques:Kenny's - Stutter Guitar Effect in PT

Stutter Guitar Effect.

I used to just make a gap in a sustained guitar note on the second half of each 1/16 note (therefore 1/32 note) but this is quicker

Make a new track above the guitar and record blank audio. Make it exactly 1/32 note long. paste it on the second half of the 1/16 note ( I believe 1-1-120 to 1-1-240)
Now duplicate from 1-1-0 to 1-1-240 until you get as many bars as you need.

Now use the third grabber (I forgot what it's called) and highlight all the little blank audio pieces and drag them over your sustained guitar note. It should cut it up.

Then highlight the blank audio in the region bin and delete it.

If it clicks too much you highlight the section a perform batch fade outs that smooth it out.
