excellent stuff.... don't be put off by the tone, it's a great read. I was always baffled by heavy guitar sounds. it really is a long haul esoteric quest and there's some good ideas gathered here

I agree that there are A TON of great ideas here, but the article could have been much shorter if not for endless rants about how everything is "****ing shit" and how dumb all the artists are that pay this guy's bills.

Fun and informative

Would liked more on the analogue side...especially tube circuitry components. The correct way to approach this is much more mysterious than gui plug-ins..for me anyway.
