Gearslutz Reviews

Win 1 of 4 Softube TubeTech Classic Channel plug-ins in our May/June giveaway!

All you have to do is write a review of any pro audio gear (hardware or software) between now and the end of June. Gearslutz' very own Jules will choose the best four reviews after the closing date and those four lucky writers will each receive a TubeTech Classic Channel license from our friends at Softube. Already have this awesome plugin? No problem - Softube will let you swap it for other plug-ins of your choice (up to a $489 value).

Read more about this incredible plugin here.

The boring stuff: the contest closes June 30, 2013. You can do as many reviews as you like but remember they are being judged on quality, and you can only win once! An iLok is required to use the plug-in. Winners will be notified via Gearslutz PM or email. The judge's decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.

Good luck!

I really love this MIDI keyboard. The specs: 49 keys, 8 sliders with 3 banks, 8 knobs with 3 banks, mod/pitch wheels, transports, LED screen. This thing is fantastic and simple with ableton live 8, providing great sound on a budget.

EDIT: My Oxygen stopped working completely. so it lasted just over two months. so it's not durible at all. As well the lack of MIDI in/out has become quite annoying.

Excellent value and extremely useful!

This little midi keyboard makes all the right compromises, and includes all the necessary features. Sure, it may not have a dedicated midi out, but if you're running most of your stuff from your daw, that will never be a problem.

The sliders and knobs have a pretty good feel to them, and are just begging to be assigned to all variables possible. Dedicated transport buttons are a useful touch.

The keys are springy and responsive, and the pitch and mod wheels are fluid.

At this price point, this is a clear winner.

M-Audio Oxygen 49 rd Gen

I got mine this week.
It is the first keyboard I've owned, so I can't compare it to anything else.
I've only used it with FL Studio so far, and the two go hand in hand with each other.
It is definitely good enough for me.
