Unhappy R.I.P. Robert Altman

One of the first film guys (that I know of) who experimented with using an 8 track machine on location to isolate dialogue and mix it later. I believe it was a Stephens 8 track run on DC power.

Sad news definitely.

Yet I'm extremely grateful for the work he's left behind.

One minute of slience for Robert Altman.

Cheers,

bdp

That's such sad news. He really gave a Sh*t about production audio.

What a talented guy.

he will be sorely missed, but what a LEGACY of films he left behind!!!
