Talking recording the score for "Amadeus"

Does anyone know anything about the recording process for the film "Amadeus" (with F. Murray Abraham and Tom Hulce; Neville Mariner was the conductor of the orchestra)? Mics? Pres? Any other 'tools' in the chain?

[If another forum is more suited to this question (High End, etc.) please feel free to move it.]

I can't be sure, but I suspect that some of the recordings were taken from the phillips catalogue. Neville Marriner has for a long time been know for Mozart performances and recordings.

I can't remember many specifics, but I remember seeing an article in which they mentioned that they were using Quad electrostatic speakers for monitoring and that they had a series of diffusers and baffles to try and improve the various location control rooms they used. To my knowledge they used B&K mics along with the usual suspects from Neumann, Schoeps etc, nothing particularly special and the article I read suggested they were recording through a console, no specialist pre's, but this isn't unusual recording using consoles up until recent years was the norm. I suspect it was something like a Neve or a Neotek.
