Audio Technica Pro 70 multing

I regularly find myself having to mult condenser microphones on gigs when I just have far too many mics for the number of inputs that I've got (usually live sound). With SDC mics, I can usually put 2 on a channel without any major issues. With lav mics, such as the DPA 4061, I have put as many as 6 on a single input with phantom power.

I have a job coming up where I'll be using a bunch of Audio Technica Pro-70 microphones on a string section. The problem is that I have way too many players for the number of inputs I've got. (I'm mixing for a Band with an orchestra on only 48 inputs)

Does anybody have experience with how many of these microphones can exist on one input multed together? Can I get 3 or even 4 on a single input. The console supplying the Phantom power will be a Yamaha PM5D.

I've called Audio Technica, but I'm still waiting for it to be returned.
