Sennheiser MKH 80 vs. MKH 800 - Page 2

Not familiar with the 80. It's interesting to compare the 800 in omni
as a side address mic, with pointing the end towards the source.

The MKH80 sounds great, is the heaven for acoustic gear. Worth mentioning that i drop one on a guitar pedal board, and broke 2 potentiometers of one of the pedals and nothing happened to the microphone, the shock was exemplary and a considerable height, these things are built to last.
