Question Mastering Studio for Jazz

hi all,

can anyone recommend a good mastering studio for jazz (and similar acoustic styles) in germany ? i tried some, but several times my mixes lost depth & dynamic detail during mastering.

i hope this is the right forum (or should i post it in the masteringforum ?)

Yes, good idea -- consider also posting this in the Mastering forum.

Teddy,

Glad you mentioned Pauleracoustics .One of my favourite CDs is Chris Jones -Roadhouses & Automobiles by Stockfishe Records which is closely related to Pauler acoustics.Great quality recordings.
However I remember in one of their rooms (with the B&W 801s),the desk covers about 60% of the monitor(basically the desk is so high).I wonder if this is a good thing.

Heck, must be! The recordings still sound amazing!

I think Gunter owns stockfish, no?
