Beyond great.
Mr Blumlein wanted sound to follow picture on the cinema screen in 1931
He developed a stereo cutter lathe, a stereo optical recorder for 35mm movie cameras and MS recording, all to this end.
It was never implemented because Westrex had only just wired Hollywood and the US and European cinemas for mono.
