Both good microphones - it's all down to personal choice as to which works better for you - you may decide you want both of them.

I own a pair of DPA 2006a, the original plan was to sell them to buy something else, but in the end I kept them as they sound really nice.
I just ordered the MMC2011 cardioid capsules and I should get them next week, I can't wait to test them!

They sound very smooth, detailed and there is a soft boost of 3db at 14kHz for the omni (2006) and at 12kHz for the cardio (2011). They work very well on classical music

To be honest, I don't understand that statement above. "I can't wait to test them" AND "They sound very smooth, detailed...work very well on classical music". The latter should only be written after testing, right...?

Sorry, I just wrote it too quickly... What I mean that I can't wait to test the cardioid capsules, because I'm happy with the omni 2006 capsules because "they sound very smooth, detailed, etc".
Of course 4006 is better, but for the price... 2006 is a great alternative.

I got the cardioid capsules, but I was too busy and I didn't have time to test them properly..
