the DPA 2006c looks interesting, but I have a couple of questions.
are there any grid options available for the 2006 capsule? ie, I plan to generally use the mics in near-field applications, and would like a free-field grid for it to avoid the +3dB lift in the high end.
also, can someone please explain to me how grid design can substantially alter the high freq response of a capsule?
are there any comparative sample recordings testing the 2006 against other Omni mics that you could point me to?
