I think SoundCloud may have done something rather nasty to this recording. Also, is this a recording of a rehearsal? I'm hearing sounds that I wouldn't normally expect to hear; page turns, etc.

Hi John,

If you listen online strings are sounding indeed horrible, you should be able to download. By the way this was just a quick recording on the fly, nothing serious, it's the first day of rehearsal in a new hall...

Gaston, what a beautiful room! The sound is great too!

How is your iPre configured? What is the recorder?

What City is this hall in? I might look it up when I get over there next (I'm in Brussels or Ghent once or twice a year).
