Question Alesis HD24 Users...

Hi there I can get files to transfer at a really slow speed using Windows explorer
but a freeware FTP client I am using does not see the FTP Address. (Smart FTP)

What freeware FTP client will do the job for me?

I've used the command-line ftp in cygwin, works just fine.

Buy the Fireport. It is the only way to go. You have to buy it from Alesis because you need the software that comes with it. The software is not free, no one will give you a copy (do a search here and on the yahoo users group). With out the software, you will not be able to read the drive.

For some reason, Alesis chose 10 base ethernet on the HD24, this is really usless. Do yourself a favor and buy the fireport.
