off the top of my head:

Steve Remote, Aura-Sonic Ltd is the forum moderator and runs a tight business in the remote world. Not sure which consoles he has...you can track him down.

Effanel Remote Recording in NYC

Record Plant Remote in NJ,

and the Big Silver Truck from Sheffield Remote Recording Services

Hope this helps.

Steve is incredible. I worked with him a few times and can also call him a great friend. He lives his business and you are guaranteed the best results possible, short of an act of God (tornado, volcano etc.). Great prices as well.
Go with Steve Remote.

Sorry, wish I had more info on this-- but the prices vary greatly depending on the company (and which truck, if you're using Effanel's flagship L7 or the little baby digital truck, same thing goes for everyone - in the modern day when everyone who does full truck, full production does it all, every type of production, down to the smallest flypack rigs). It varies so much based on what you are trying to do, the length of the day and exact location, and whether it's TV, live record, or whatever.

Steve Remote for a less-expensive smaller gig

or

Dave Hewitt, Remote Recording Service, for a top-end gig.

I guess it's time to move this to the correct forum...

Michael,

You're right, I'm good for the less-expensive smaller gigs like this one...

Live TV Mix & Simultanious Record.

My apologies to Steve, who does indeed have a great rig worthy of most any remote job.

I should have worded my post differently:

"Steve Remote for most any gig at a reasonable price

or

David Hewitt, Remote Recording Services for a job requiring an even bigger truck with the associated higher cost."

I didn't intend to minimize the great work you do and the efficient truck you put together. I humbly ask you to accept my apologies for the slight. I hope we can actually hire your rig for a jazz session in NYC one of these days!

BTW, Steve - your posted photos look a lot like a gig we did awhile back at Royal Albert Hall with Polyhymnia's audio truck and the Beeb's TV remote truck(s). Those sort of jobs are a real challenge to all involved!
